Lys strågul farve. Koncentreret og meget præcis citrusnæse med knivskarp mineralitet. Smagen hænger flot sammen med duften. Fatastisk dybde og samtidig super rank. Eftersmagen er imponerende lang - alt i alt en virkelig elegant og afbalanceret sag! Slet ikke tung og slasket som nogle hvide Bourgogner i 2006. - Flot!

Hi Vicki,I saw something about that in some liutratere but I never saw anything like it on my recent trip. I wondered if it was a translation problem at the time but maybe it really exists.Anyway I would strongly recommend that you go to the region around the town of Alba. Asti was nice but Alba is better. It even has the Ferro Rocher factory in it!It would be a bit of a stretch to do as a day trip from Liguria or Como for that matter but it would be worth staying a night at one of the small hill top towns like La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba or Barolo. Barolo and and La Morra have these great wine shops where you can taste a few wines of the region for a small fee. La Morra has this place called the cantina communale where you can taste the wine of some of the local producers (small fee applies).Go for lunch at the Vinoteca Centro Storico in Serralunga d'Alba.
